WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI -- Rock climbing, axe throwing and a mix of football and bowling are just some of the indoor activities happening around Washtenaw County, whether you’re trying to beat the heat or dodge the raindrops.

Here are five great places to have some inside fun around Ann Arbor.

Fowling Warehouse

Fowling Warehouse is the perfect place to go if you love bowling and throwing around a football.

Fowling combines the two sports and has participants throw a football at their opponent’s set of 10 pins. The first team to knock down all of their opponent’s pins wins.

Participants can pay $12 per person for unlimited play or spend $120 to reserve a lane for two hours for 10 players. The warehouse also has plenty of alcoholic beverages to sip on with over 100 beers, seltzers, ciders and wines to choose from.

The Chelsea Treehouse

The Chelsea Treehouse is a spot for children to have some fun while their parents sit back and relax.

The business opened in 2006 in its nearly 9,000-square-foot location and offers a mix of a café and play space filled with jungle gyms, slides and various other play structures for children to explore. The treehouse has welcomed families from all over Michigan and the country solely through word of mouth over the years.

Planet Rock

Get your sweat on while rock climbing at Planet Rock.

Planet Rock offers a variety of rock climbing courses, introductory climbing classes for beginners and even a full fitness area. Daily passes for rock climbing start at $20 with starter packages for classes beginning at $45.

BIG Best In Games

BIG Best In Games brings fun for all ages with its wide variety of events.

The business offers activities like bumper cars, go karting, an adventure course, laser tag, axe throwing and mini golf.

Axe Ventura

Axe Ventura is all about teaching others how to properly throw an ax.
