ANN ARBOR, MI -- It’s last call at the bar and maybe you’re thinking you need some greasy food after all your drinks.

Downtown Ann Arbor has a wide selection of bars, but it also has a lot of late-night restaurants ready to help you out, whether you’re looking for a slice of pizza or a burrito to satisfy your cravings.

Here are five restaurants to check out after hitting the bars in Ann Arbor.

The Back Room

The Back Room has become known in Ann Arbor for selling pizza by the slice.

The cheap pizza restaurant operated by The Brown Jug Bar is a go-to spot or many people looking for a late night snack. Customers can buy a slice of cheese pizza for $2.50, pepperoni for $3.50 or supreme for $4.50.

The restaurant also sells breadsticks, and people can purchase a full pepperoni pizza for $13 or a supreme pizza for $21.

The Back Room, 605 Church St., is open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday through Saturday and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday.

Fleetwood Diner

Ann Arborites know Fleetwood Diner is a place to stuff your face after the bars call it quits for the night.

The iconic Ann Arbor diner has been serving breakfast, lunch and dinner at all hours of the day and night since 1949.

Customers can find omelets, pancakes, sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, salads, fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, ribeye steaks, pork chops, chicken strips, chicken wings and the diner’s iconic hippie hash.

Tios Mexican Café

Tios Mexican Café has you covered with late-night Mexican cuisine, if you’re willing to leave the bars a little before 2 a.m.

Tios offers all kinds of tacos made with fish, steak, margarita shrimp, ground beef, chicken or pork. The restaurant also has burritos, nachos, a Mexican pizza, enchiladas, chimichangas, quesadillas and, of course, queso and chips.

Tios, 401 E. Liberty St., is open 11 a.m. to midnight Monday and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Pizza House/Breakfast House

Stumble into Pizza House until 4 a.m. and experience its menu packed with carbs.

The restaurant offers a variety of breadsticks, garlic breads, shakes, calzones, pasta, burgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, subs, sandwiches and pizzas that come either Chicago deep dish style, Sicilian deep dish, traditional, thin or super thin crust.

There’s also a long list of fried food to try, including jalapeno poppers, fried shrimp, onion rings, fried ravioli, fried mozzarella, fried pickles, chicken tenders, fried calamari and steak fries.

Breakfast House, which operates inside Pizza House, offers breakfast meal options as well.

Pizza House, 618 Church St., offers dining and delivery services from 10:30 a.m. to 4 a.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 4 a.m. Friday through Sunday.

BTB Burrito

Sometimes a burrito is the only thing that can cure a late-night craving.

BTB Burrito has been serving its burritos, quesadillas and nachos in Ann Arbor since 2004. Customers can find vegetarian, grilled chicken, steak, roasted veggie and, of course, classic ground beef burritos.

BTB Burrito, 1140 S. University Ave., is open 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday, 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. Tuesday through Wednesday, 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. Thursday through Friday, 3 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Saturday and 5 to 11 p.m. Sunday.

White Castle

No list of places to go after a night at the bar would be complete without an honorary mention to White Castle.

While this restaurant is a national chain rather than a local establishment, many people have had their fair share of White Castle sliders after a night of hitting the town.

Ann Arbor’s White Castle may be off the beaten path at 3953 Packard St., but, if you have a designated driver, it may be a place to check out.

Its open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. Friday through Saturday. Find the restaurant online or by phone at 734-973-6811.
