The Tour Championship is well underway this weekend, and Sunday will see the final round and a victor hoisting the FedEx Cup. (Assuming no weather delays. Knock on wood.)
So far, the PGA FedEx Cup Playoffs have featured the FedEx St. Jude Championship and the BMW Championship. Lucas Glover won the St. Jude event, and Viktor Hovland won the BMW.
The field was whittled down with each tournament to the top 30 in the PGA.
On Friday, Round 3 saw a surge from BMW champion Hovland, with Hovland, Scheffler, Collin Morikawa, and John Rahm vying for the top spot, among others. Rory McIlroy is the defending champion, but he’s dragged behind a bit in the leaderboard in the early rounds.
