A new report by the Michigan Auditor General found ballots cast by voters who later died before election day had virtually zero impact on the 2020 general election.

Released Friday, the 67-page report evaluates procedures in the last eight elections and identifies some flaws in post-election audits of the 2020 results. The report determined only 0.03% of all ballots cast in the November 2020 election were from people who were dead on Election Day, accounting for 1,616 out of 5.5 million votes.
