However, we always recommend shopping odds at various sportsbooks that are legal in Michigan. While FanDuel took the cake in the previous example, that doesn’t mean they’ll have the most favorable odds for every sporting event that you’re interested in betting on.

The FanDuel mobile app is available to download for Android and iOS users. We always recommend downloading the mobile app (if possible) when using an online sportsbook. As of April 2023, FanDuel’s mobile app boasts a rating of 4.7 and 4.7 on both the Google Play and Apple Stores.

The layout of the FanDuel app is essentially perfect and the speed isn’t far behind. We thoroughly enjoyed the app’s interface, with top games and bonuses being centered on the page. Not only that, but the top and bottom ribbons feature every important button icon that you’ll need.

FanDuel’s desktop experience on the web browser is also excellent. The site interface is an underrated aspect of online sportsbooks, so much so that even an average one could heavily hinder a betting site’s popularity and rating. 

Again, FanDuel aces our desktop review due to an intuitive layout and seamless bet submission process. It’s fair to say that the FanDuel layout and design aren’t going to blow you away, but they cover the basics so well that it truly doesn’t matter.

There are many reasons why we find FanDuel Michigan to be one of the best sportsbooks in the state as it stands in 2023. If you choose to use FanDuel, we firmly believe you’ll enjoy the line of promotions, the common odds/profit boosts, the overall layout, as well as its other key features like live streaming.

According to FanDuel itself, they currently boast over 12 million users across the United States—and if you’re a Michigan resident—we definitely recommend giving it a try.

In our view, there are four viable contenders for the best sportsbook in Michigan: BetMGM, Caesars, DraftKings, and FanDuel. All four are almost identical in terms of betting markets and banking methods, but they do differ mightily in layout, which could very well be the difference for some people.

The thing that we like about FanDuel over the other three top contenders is FD’s odds. As we discussed earlier, FanDuel often wears the crown for the most favorable odds when it comes to the four major sports. At the end of the day, layout and color scheme matter some, but the amount of money you make is always at the forefront of priorities.

We really enjoyed benefiting from the favorable odds, and navigating the clean user interface, all while knowing that we were using one of the most trusted names in online sports gambling.

The lone drawbacks that we found with FanDuel Michigan were the lack of creativity with their line of promotions and the fact that there isn’t a loyalty program specifically geared towards sports bettors.

Our 2023 FanDuel Michigan review concluded that the brand might actually be the best sportsbook in the state with its favorable odds giving them a slight edge over BetMGM, Caesars, and DraftKings.
