MUSKEGON – The long-awaited kickoff to the 2023 high school football season is officially here as Week 1 action across Michigan gets underway Thursday night.
Optimism is running rampant for many Muskegon-area programs this fall and several area teams have an opportunity to put together special seasons if they reach their potential. Before all the local communities head out to the games on Thursday and Friday night, we wanted to provide all the Muskegon-area football fans an opportunity to get to know some of the teams in the area.
Below are team previews, season schedules, players to watch, games to watch, Week 1 predictions and an updated area schedule for Thursday and Friday night’s action.
